It’s bank holiday, and of course, it’s raining. I am currently sat in bed with a cup of tea wondering why us Brits always make such a big deal out of the occasion. However, in this post, I’m going to show you some top shoe porn so be ready for Puma Suede Heart Satin in limited edition. If you love suede, vibrant colours and gorgeous laces then this one is for you.
Now, I’m not usually a Puma girl, nor am I a major shoe hoarder. However, when I see a pair I like, it’s a must-have. Puma Suede Heart is a unique take on the famous Puma suede but has a bow-like lacing feature which makes them extra girly and adorable. I first came across these beauties on Facebook, when I saw an advertisement of the one and only Cara Delevigne showing them off. Out of the vibrant pinks, yellows and greens, I fell in love with the Lavender shade the most. To my disappointment, they’d sold out everywhere and were impossible to find. Well, that was until I came across them on Depop. (Hallelujah!)
With a big thank you to my boyfriend, Lewis, for putting up with my fangirling and giving into me pleading to get my hands on them. Tah-dah, in a birthday box, here I find these gorgeous gems. The shoes have a discreet logo on the side with gold writing (oh the glamour!) and have a suede upper part with a rubber outsole which is quite thick to protect you from bad weather. These shoes aren’t designed for any form of bad weather. The downside is that they need to be taken care of to the extreme but it’s so worth it. I wore these for the first time at BodyPower which included 6 hours of walking around an arena plus travelling on trains and running around stations and I hadn’t experienced any rubbing or discomfort. A dream come true!
To be honest, the pictures say it all and prove why I’m in love with them. It’s strange to class a trainer as a ‘going out piece’. But due to the delicacy and beauty of them, it’s essential to keep them as clean and beautiful looking. The laces are purely made out of ribbon and have a velvet feel to them which feels gorgeously soft. At first, I thought that the bow was drastic, but if you keep your outfit toned down, then it looks perfect as your statement piece. The bigger the bow, the better, right?
Want, love, need?
Due to the bow not being able to tie like your average lace, inserted inside the shoe on either side, are little pieces of elastic which keep your foot nice and snug while you’re on the go. Either rock the streets in style or be the queen of the gym.
If you want to find this unusual take on your fav trainers, then click here. Due to these being limited edition, you may not be able to get your hands on the exact colour. However, you can be a walking rainbow. The retail price is £64.99 but will vary. I feel like a unicorn.
