I thought to myself earlier that it’s about time I did a fashion post. So if you’re lucky enough to have 5 minutes then sit down with a cuppa; as I promise you’re in for a treat. Over the past month, I’ve bought a few items which I think you’ll adore as much as me, and I may have gone a little girly but who can resist the lace and floral patterns? Some of these small pieces are a little out of my comfort zone, but fashion is supposed to be fun so embrace it! Let’s just get stuck in, shall we? Great idea.
Casual day out
Okay, so outfit one is cute yet comfy. I picked up this adorable cropped Bardot in Zara a while back. I feel like the off shoulder look is so flattering, and you can team with the prettiest accessories. Moving on from the tee though, these shorts, just wow. I hate shorts with a passion, not only do they give you the worst wedgie ever, but they also ride up every time you move. I thought jeans were bad, but shorts are just bloody awful. Well, apart from these AMAZING BooHoo ones! With the warmer weather slowly coming in, I needed a pair whether I liked it or not and when I ordered them I was adamant they’d be uncomfortable. I admit I was wrong, they’re so comfy to the point where I don’t want to take them off, the stretchy elastic is perfect, and the high waist is the ideal length, just meeting those tiny crop tops, meaning you won’t be self-conscious of your stomach. (YES!!).
The next thing I picked up was this beautiful playsuit from BooHoo. Again, a Bardot but the lace is gorgeous; I couldn’t resist. I feel so elegant in this little piece, yet it’s so effortless, either team with heels or little sandals. Perfect for a festival or a special event. I fell in love instantly with this item, and the lace doesn’t look cheap either. A must-have in anyone’s wardrobe this summer. Make those collar bones rock, girl!
Summer is known for weddings and late evening parties. There may be a few occasions I need to dress it up and the pressure is always intense when it comes to events! To be more prepared this year, I got the perfect skirt to go with the spaghetti floral top I mentioned in my last post There’s nothing better than a statement skirt and this baby blue skater just completes the outfit perfectly, looking smart and feminine. I managed to grab this in the sale for £10 from Miss Selfridge. Don’t you just love a good sale? The fabric feels amazing and it has tiny embroidered flowers, tiny detail is just beautiful.
So there you have it, 3 effortless outfits all perfect for different occasions. What’s your favourite look this season?
