Drugstore Beauty Wishlist Of Summer 2017

April 24, 2017

I absolutely adore drugstores, and I could spend a small fortune in there due to the number of fancy products. You discover things that you don’t want but you suddenly need them in your life, and I always buy way more than I intended to. I mean, do I really need that lollipop bath sponge? This is why I try and stay clear from the makeup and hair heaven. From beautiful shimmery highlight palettes to temporary bright hair dye and random body mists. This is my Superdrug summer wishlist.

1 Superdrug Pick & Mix Semi Permanent Hair Dye

Festival season is upon us which is why I’m dying (nice pun) to experiment with my hair. After seeing all of the images from Coachella, it really does give you that summer fun vibe. Superdrug have a great range of semi-permanent hair dyes for us girlies who are too scared to go all the way! Lasting for 3-10 washes, this is ideal to pull off mermaid hair, and £4.99 is a bargain.

2 Layering Lab Body Mists

A blogger favourite and a product you need to get your hands on this summer. Layering Lab is a company who do many body mists which are exclusive to Superdrug. The good part? Everyone loves a unique scent and you can either wear these mists alone or combine a few of the sprays together to create a bespoke scent. Get experimenting!

3 Eyelure False Lashes

I’ve mentioned in a previous post that I need to get my hands on a decent pair of lashes and with my birthday coming up, I have no excuse. For £9.95 these are top of the range beauties and have the mink effect which means they are super soft. These ones, in particular, are designed to elongate the eye. Very snazzy. Certainly deserves a spot on the wishlist.

4 Makeup Revolution Blush Palette

Possibly the most beautiful blush palette that could ever exist? Makeup Revolution has done it again with this perfect peachy palette just in time for summer. With highlighter intertwined with these blushes, it means minimal effort, perfect for a lazy makeup girl like myself. The price is nice too at £6.

5 Cranberries & Cream Bath Bombs

Every girl has a bath bomb obsession and these cupcake cuties are too beautiful. The scent of cranberries and cream seems very British and it sounds lush fizzing away in the tub while it moisturises your skin. The perfect gift for £4.99.

6 L’Oreal Colour Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick

Coral = Summer has arrived. Going on holiday this year and soaking up the sun means you can pull off a coral lippy with your golden sheen. This is L’Oreals richest colour and lip treatment ever and is highly pigmented. Protect your lips in the rays but look stylish too. £6 is a real bargain, but is it better than Mac?

7 Zoella Makeup Bag

With travelling a lot, I’m always in need of a smaller makeup bag to put my favourite products in. This Zoella clutch is so simple and is the perfect size to take anywhere with you. (As long as I don’t decide to bring my whole makeup collection). £9 is quite expensive but we can dream, right?

8 Barry M Gelly Paint

Bright & bold for the win this summer. Absolutely in love with this turquoise shade and is one of my favourite items on the wishlist! Barry M never fails to disappoint with their varnish quality and with colour that stays put, you don’t have to worry about chipping. £3.99 for hot nails? Yes please.

9 Nip + Fab Foundation

You’ve seen Nip + Fab skincare splattered over every magazine page so when I heard that their foundation has arrived, it made my day. The medium coverage is supposed to create a flawless look and with 10 different shades to choose from, you’re bound to find the match for you. I can’t wait to try this one, let me know your opinions in the comments below!

10 Unicorn Heart Makeup Highlighter

Best till last, right? Unicorn + highlighter = perfection. This heart shaped gem looks so beautiful and has subtle pastel shimmery shades to get the perfect iridescent rainbow glow. £4.99, I’ll take 5.

What’s on your drugstore wishlist?

Love,

Hope x
