The Best Hashtags To Use On Instagram

April 27, 2017

Instagram is my favourite social media by far but recently I’ve noticed that my stats have been dropping a little. This is because Instagram has been playing around with their algorithm. That means that your main focus is the image itself.

All of my Instagram photos have been taken with my Canon 750D to make them high quality. I put a lot of time and effort into my editing to make my theme run as smoothly as possible. I’ll always be a fan of the white feed because it’s fresh and clean, plus it isn’t as difficult as you think.

Photoshop is my life saver when it comes to editing pics but captions are also very important. For beauty, lifestyle and fashion users, it can become quite difficult to get featured as these are very popular topics but there are plenty of unique hashtags that you can use. Instead of going for really simple hashtags such as #fashion, aim for less popular ones which are listed below. This way, you have a higher chance of becoming featured which will bring great traffic.

Lifestyle Hashtags

When you’re featured, you’re going to get a lot more likes and possibly followers. You’ll find that you’re only allowed around 30 hashtags on one post so it’s good to take advantage of this amount and choose the tags wisely as this way, you’re going to have a better post performance.

If you’re looking to get more comments on your images then ask questions in your caption to draw users in or put ‘tag a friend’. I find that competitions are a fantastic way to get the impressions and reach up on your stats. Within the UK, the best time to upload is usually between 6-10pm as this is when most people are online. Remember to alway check when you’re engagement is highest!
