There’s something about Amsterdam that I’ve fallen in love with; maybe it’s because of its dark history (Anne Frank) or because I love The Fault In Our Stars too much! The city is full of colour and has the most gorgeous buildings. I can imagine taking so many amazing pictures here and visiting many famous museums, going on a canal cruise and relaxing in a cafe having brunch!
Australia is known for its spiders, snakes and other scary creatures that I wouldn’t like to discuss but I’m still not put off visiting there. With its beautiful beaches, Opera House and friendly people it’s something that is very close to my heart. There is so much incredible natural beauty there, I wouldn’t want to leave. Another reason I’d want to go is to finally meet my Great Uncle and Auntie; it would be an experience I’d never forget.
I’ve always been interested in Japan. I love their culture and how different it is to mine, I find it fascinating. I’m not always up for a relaxing holiday; I want to be productive, to use up my time enjoying the scenes and taking it all in and I know with Japan I can do just that. With such a crowded city (especially the subway) and some phenomenal skyscrapers offering views to Mount Fuji, I can picture myself walking down a road next to a row of pink coloured trees!
New York City, USA
New York is usually on most people’s bucket list and who can blame them? Traditional yellow cabs, energetic streets and amazing food all seems so breathtaking! I must admit Casey Neistat inspired me and I cannot stop watching his vlogs. I’d love to visit Times Square and all of the grand shops (every girl’s dream), not to forget the Statue of Liberty.
Do I really need to explain why I want to visit Venice? With beautiful canals that run through the city and clear blue waters you’ll be taken back. The history of the buildings and architecture seems so awe-inspiring and the teeming markets that sell fresh fruit and vegetables means you can make some delicious Italian food for yourself. Venice is unique in the sense that it’s so pedestrian friendly, which means you can explore in great depth.
Of course, these aren’t the only places in the world that I’d love to visit but these sites catch my eye the most. I plan to make these dreams a reality one day; however, I plan not to do it alone. Travelling with someone not only builds a stronger bond but provides you with greater memories that will last a lifetime.
